  • The Saviel family has been in India for many years . The early records is of Thomas Savil who was a Skidd'y boat captain who was buried in Bombay in 1756. My family started with George Thomas Saviel who was born in India in 1827 and married first to Sophia Mary Morley in Calcutta India in 1853. He later went to work in Burma in 1861 and later married Rose Hnin Si in 1873 in Burma. They had 3 childern all born in Burma from 1874 to 1878.
