May Wagner, she was born in Leeds on 13th March 1917 one of 3 children born to Sarah Solity. Her brief film is a wonderful 6+ minute account on what it is being a mum, as her daughter Naomi Caplin interviews her for Mothers Day. This film was inspired from May’s Memoirs that she has written at the request of her grandsons which takes her from birth at Leeds Maternity Hospital and her early memories of her grandparents from Ukraine and Lithuania to her wedding in 1949, being a teacher, a mother and now a grandmother. What a truly wonderful memoir, which will obviously be treasured by this lovely woman's children and grandchildren, and hopefully for many generations into the future. May is an inspiring woman, and this is a great piece for Mothers Day. It's a delight to have it on StoryVault. SP
