Lena Martin died in April 2010 aged 102. 101 when she gave this interview, Lena recounts how she married a soldier and received the unwelcome news that he was "missing in action" during World War II. Lena also talks about Gillian and Diana, her two daughters.

"Military men are difficult to live with - they want you to be better than everyone else!" What a fascinating perspective from this wonderful woman. And when she says her husband went "missing in action", presumably we are speaking of WW1 - but eventually he turns up and goes on to live a long life. Great stuff. SP
