Lady Milena Grenfell-Baines is from Prague. She came to England in 1939 as one of nearly 700 Jewish children saved from the Nazis by Sir Nicholas Winton, a stockbroker who earned the nickname 'Britain's Schindler'.

How remarkable! This marvellous and fabulous woman was fleeing the Nazis, and her main memory as a 9 year old was the first time she drank tea with milk, and lousy sandwiches. It's often the mundane things that stick with us!
