But Coventry was attacked...and David Wood was onboard and only metres away from where the bomb hit...

"Not like it is in the films", he says. That seems right. He is far more business-like and less likely to put on false bravado than anyone you will see in the movies. Which is why this man's account of such an extraordinary incident is so powerful.
