Thanks for this "D Bar". Abdul Shamji's story was an amazing one. Years after making the programme I moved to a modest house in Coombe Hill in Kingston, only to discover the Mr Shamji was living in a magnificent house one hundred yards away! Since I had in part been responsible for sending him to jail for perjury, this was slightly uncomfortable. This was the house in which he had entertained Mrs Thatcher in his days as a favoured donor to the Tory party. Murky stuff.

I worked for Abdul Shamji in the early 80's in the US. he was an Indian from Uganda and was given a letter by Edie Amean to get out of Uganda or he would be killed.his partner was named Kara, living in Canada. I didn't know all of these things were going on until recently. He would buy two seats on the Concord so that he could laydown. Then he tells me he wants a jet that would fly direct from London to Texas. Then he disapeared about 1983. Now it all makes sence. When I would take him to a funding source he would just pull out a lot of articles about his holdings along with an endorsement from margret Thatcher. Then he would say, " You tell me what I'm worth". I had better not say too much more rather than the takeover of America was in Place. Looks like he was right.
