Oliver grew up in the Congo but was sent abroad for his education so that he could eventually return to run the family business. However the Congo is now a dangerous place to be, and Oliver is settled in London with his family. He now works as a chef at the King Alfred Scool in Golders Green. He would still like to return one day, but was asked if he would be afraid to do so.......

Pupils from the King Alfred School in London were asked to find out what they could about their own family background. They came back with some fascinating stories of their families, and how many of them had arrived in Britain from all parts of the globe. Hani's family came from Iraq, where his grandfather still owns a factory making pasta. The story was told to the school's head-teacher Dawn Moore.
