Sir Edward Augustus Inglefield
King Alfred School pupil Scarlett Malone recounts the story of her great great grandfather, Sir Edward Augustus Inglefield. Inglefield was a royal naval officer who famously led a search for the missing arctic explorer John Franklin in the 1850's. During the search he chartered previously unexplored parts of the northern Canadian coastline. Scarlett is a pupil at King Alfred School, London, and conducted this research as part of the school's heritage day.
