Joan Anderson, arguably London's oldest waitress working at Gordon's Wine Bar in London has led a colourful life. Over the years she's met many people from all walks of life and had a special friendship with actress Ginger Rogers. She met up with her everytime she came to London and Joan's hobby of making dolls was put to good use! She would present Ginger with a new doll inspired by a costume from a film or play. Over the years they also exchanged many letters and kept up their friendship until Ginger's death in April 25, 1995.
