SECRETS OF THE CONQUEROR

Whatever happened to the missing Control Room log from HMS Conqueror - the nuclear submarine which sank the Argentinian cruiser Belgrano? It has remained a mystery for 30 years. Everyone assumed that its "loss" was because it contained information about the sinking of the cruiser. It turns out that immediately after the war, the Conqueror was involved in a thrilling Cold War operation, and that this is the real reason why the Log went missing.

OLYMPIC CYCLING - THE MOTORCADE

Such was the enormously positive response to my uploading of the motorcade which followed President Obama in Dublin, that I thought you might like to see the entourage which followed the men's cycling road-race when it went over Kingston Bridge in the last fifteen minutes or so of the event in the 2012 Olympics. Who said cycling was green? Eh?

A wonderful tribute to his late wife Eileen, by Rob Williams

Rob Williams was an enterprising and enthusiastic amateur movie-maker all his life. He chronicled the life and times of his friends and family on film and video for many decades. This is a film he made in 1994, three years after the death of his beloved wife Eileen, in the place where they met in South East New Brunswick. It's a lovely story of romance, and a wonderful tribute to Eileen.

THE HUNT FOR THE YORKSHIRE RIPPER

When police hunting the Yorkshire Ripper received a recording from a man claiming to be the killer, they thought it would only be a question of time before he was arrested. They chose to exclude the possibility that the man on the tape might not be the killer - with fatal consequences for several women.
