The enormous success of Ben Macintyre's terrific book, OPERATION MINCEMEAT is a reminder that we have the compelling account of the original story as told by one of the wonderful women who were there and involved at the time. Patricia Davies worked in British Naval Intelligence while this ambitious and daring plan was hatched and put into effect. She told the story to Martyn Cox, who has collected literally hundreds of wonderful interviews from SOE operatives: we are hoping to persuade Martyn to upload more of them onto the StoryVault site so that these people's amazing work can be more widely recognised and celebrated.
