PLYMOUTH SCHOOLCHILDREN HELP DEVELOP THE STORYVAULT WEB-SITE

Posted at 01-07-2010 by: The StoryVault Team

A group of children, aged between 8 and 11, from four primary schools in Plymouth took part in an all-day workshop in which they tested the site and offered advice on how StoryVault works. The children came from Dunstone Primary, Stuart Road Primary, Shakespeare Primary and the Compton C of E Primary. They gathered at the Pilgrim Study Centre, which is attached to Plymouth Argyle football ground, where the kids got the chance to meet some diehard Argyle fans. The children learned about techniques for getting the best out of intervieees, and then put their skills to the test with the fans and with several members of the Argyle Youth Team. The day was organised by the South West Grid for Learning, which has been promoting the StoryVault site for use in local schools.  Some of the interviews can be seen on the StoryVault site.
