Next year will of course see the centenary of the end of the Great War, and amazingly, we do in fact have a first hand account from a survivor of WW1.  At 113 years, Henry Allingham was the oldest verified living man in the world when he recorded his interview for Storyvault - which was about his memories of the Battle of Jutland which took place in 1916. Regrettably, Henry died just a few weeks after giving the interview - which is a poignent reminder of why it's so important to get the historic record "in the can" (and uploaded onto Storyvault) - rather than waiting.   Watch Henry's account on Storyvault, and feel inspired to add to it with the memories of those close to you!
